Barry Fitzgerald

Dr. Barry Fitzgerald received his PhD degree (2010) at the department of Physics from the University of Limerick. He is a physicist, author, speaker and passionate science communicator. Fitzgerald has spoken about science and superheroes around the world, including at TEDxBerlin 2019 where he spoke about “Being a Responsible Superhero”. In addition, he creates video content for his YouTube channel “The Superhero Scientist”, he is an avid podcaster, and he is the editor-in-chief of the Open Access journal Superhero Science + Technology.
