Diletta Giuntini

Diletta Giuntini is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, and PI in Hamburg’s Collaborative Research Center on Tailor-made Multiscale Materials Systems. Her research focuses on the development of advanced ceramics and ceramic-based materials. Diletta obtained her BSc and MSc cum laude in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, and her PhD in Engineering Sciences from the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University. Some of her awards include the Inamori Fellowship, the Humboldt Fellowship and the TMS-AIME Champion H. Mathewson Award. She teaches Engineering design, Fracture mechanics – theory and application, and Advanced and Additive Manufacturing.
